The trailer for Dead Island just premiered, and all I can say is “wow”. It’s quite disturbing, even if you live and breath zombies.
There’s a great writeup at Destuctoid as well.

This is what I’m talking about. Some real hard hitting analysis and dissection of the difference between ghouls and zombies. I stumbled upon this excellent article while searching for the specific difference in the D&D world, and I’m glad I did. We need more thought-provoking pieces about REAL issues.
How the fuck did I not find out about this show when it came out way back when in 2008? Maybe because it’s British? Maybe because it’s from the makers of Big Brother and I thought to myself “Why the hell would I watch a horror show from the makers of Big Brother?” That, I will never know, but regardless, I have made up for lost time by having been lucky to catch it showing on IFC last Halloween in just enough time to hit record on the series.
I finally got around to watching it last, and The Dead Set was awesome.
First of all, I always get jealous watching BBC shows, and how vulgar and realistic they can be with blood/gore/killing. Why can’t US TV be like this (not HBO/Showtime)? It’s a shame to limit such fantastic horror TV to paying customers.
Secondly, what balls by the Big Brother brass to make such an offbeat show, and at the same time call out the silliness of reality shows, especially the ones where they’re all shoved in a house. Not that they care, considering the millions they continue to pull in.
Third, I don’t want to spoil the ending, but you’ll love it. Ballsy again, but I love it.
So I have to admit, all the hype is absolutely worth it. The Walking Dead is the shit, and is the greatest show on television at the moment. There, I said it.
SPOILER ALERT: I discuss some specifics in the show, so don’t read any further if you haven’t seen it.
4. For 2004. The year that Shaun of the Dead came out, one of our favorite movies ever.
51. For … OK this has nothing to do with the number 51, but I did a Google search for 51, and got the following search results:
Yeah I’m not sure either. I assume it has something to do with Area 51/apocalypse/I don’t know. BUT, I do know that these are some stupid yet fun quizzes.
I am proud to report that I have a 62 percent chance of surviving a zombie invasion.
