Talk about zombies … this thing scares me in more ways than one.

This is pretty cool. I would’ve played with Barbies if they all looked like this.

If there is a quote referring to your game as “The crack cocaine of zombie-killing survival/action horror,” then you seriously need to live up to ultra high expectations. Valve, the makers of Half-Life (which I never actually played but was witness to many people’s wanton reactions to me when interrupting their Half-Life fests), have created a new epic action game based around zombies and the killing of said zombies.

The game won’t be released until November 17th, but that’s perfect considering it’s around the 2 week mourning period post Halloween, so I will be in dire need of zombie cocaine to get my spirits up.

October 2nd!  It’s still October! Time to spend countless hours pondering over what life would have been like had I been born a vampire, wondering what Bruce Campbell is doing at this very moment, or planning my Halloween costume(s) like I was architecting a king’s castle and I could be beheaded for a subpar job.

So time to waste a little time (it’s not really wasting since it’s educational though). I spent some nice time perusing the internet for zombie material so you wouldn’t have to. Enjoy some of these selected gems. Some are great, and some are just stupid. I will let you decide and discuss.

Well, I thought I loved zombies, but apparently not as much as this young lady.

While searching for more information on zombies this morning, I came across this gem, ZOMBIE JUICE!, an equal mix of honest love and appreciation for zombies and zombie culture, and late 90’s god-awful web design.

I want you to pay close attention to the cliche animated GIFs, the background, and of course the bones that line the top of each page.  I’m pretty sure I broke Google’s web indexing by just visiting this site.  Alarms must be going off somewhere.

Some of the “features” of this site that you surely cannot miss:

• Zombie Quiz … my favorite question being “Is it stinky?”
• Zombie or Not … shout out to Manson … and I can’t even tell who is who!!!
• Zombie Survival Guide … I think Max Brooks has a plagerism suit coming his way.

OK, so I’m really going to throw you a curveball right here.  The band I am about to endorse is definitely not metal, but if you want to group a bunch of Halloweenish bands together, these guys must be included.
