I really love IFC. Back in 2005, I remember them showing a different horror movie each night in October, which was just what a new Brooklynite needed to help adjust to the city life. Sadly, they haven’t quite continued that tradition, but they still show lots of kickass horror movies at random hours. And if you’re lucky enough to live in NYC or Los Angeles, you know IFC has a great theater (and bar) which often caters to those of the horror culture.

IFC Films has just announced their summer program, and it includes some pretty killer flicks, including Dead Snow and Pontypool. This excites me because I still haven’t seen Dead Snow and have been fascinated by the concept ever since I first heard about it. Pontypool is about a town plagued by a virus which is spread through speech, specifically the English language. Intrigued I am.
