If there’s one thing we love here at the Devil’s Demons, it’s booze. If there’s ANOTHER thing we love, well, it’s football.

Vincent and I probably spend close to 80  percent of our fall/winter watching football and drinking beer. It’s the best excuse to drink heavily on Saturday, Sunday, Monday night, and sometimes Thursdays too. No one can argue with you.

One of our favorite metallers is none other than Phil Anselmo. And he’s blessed us by giving us some insight into who he thinks will do well this upcoming season.

A great quote about the Saints:

The Saints are having a massive insanely intense awesome training camp right now, so it’s tough not to talk about them.

Good to know that there are diehard football fans in the world of metal.

56 for the #56 out of 100 greatest metal albums of all time, Pantera’s Vulgar Display of Power, as voted on by the readers of the Greek edition of Metal Hammer (random I know).

Pantera are by far one of our all time favorite bands. Their albums have gotten us through many a bender, and we’ve been known to wear out copies of their CDs. They’re brutal.

Pantera can claim many Halloween connections. In general, the guys (R.I.P. Dimebag) are all extremely mischievous and are known to get into all kinds of trouble. They would drink all kinds of booze, wear all kinds of silly outfits, and destroy every hotel/venue they ever played in. Known for being practical jokesters, there was always some mischief in the air with those guys. They’re probably one of the last great bands to actually have fun with what they did, and not take it all too seriously.

Oh my, haunted house season!
