24 days until Halloween peoples! Today’s Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon adventure takes us from 24 to the show 24 (which I think is awful, but thankfully we don’t review terrible T.V. shows) to its star and resident drunk (inspiration to Vincent and I) Kiefer Sutherland, who way back when (when his liver and nasal passages were most likely already permanently damaged, but still had a fighting chance) played David in the 80′s classic The Lost Boys.

The Lost Boys kicks ass for several reasons.

One, it’s an 80′s horror movie. Pretty much everything made in the 80′s in terms of horror is classic/cheesy/easy to watch.

Secondly, it features the two Coreys, and that much cocaine in one place MUST make for a good time.

Third, it’s one of the first movies I remember my parents making me leave the living room to watch while growing up. Yes my parents are amazing for loving the Lost Boys. And yes by them forcing me out of the room, it only increased my intrigue and desire to see these sorts of films.
