10. Virginia was the 10th state to join the union. Burn the Priest (Lamb of God’s old name) are from Virginia, and they’re brutal. Burn the Priest is also a very evil band name in case you didn’t notice.
Somehow we messed up and got off by a day. Today is really “10 Days Until Halloween”. But whatever. Before that …

18. As in, “I’m 18″. As in the song that’s featured on the soundtrack for the shitty ass “horror” movie The Faculty.
You may recall, that the version in the Faculty was performed by one of our FAVORITE artistes, Creed. You may or may not know that it was originally an Alice Cooper song, before Creed butchered the shit out of it.
20. 20 years ago, in 1990, Danzig released Danzig II: Lucifuge.
We really love Danzig here. Sure, his music is great, but probably more great is how much of a jackass he is, and how awkward every interview ever conducted with him has ever been.
He’s also produced some great moments in film and song. There’s this great video someone made of Danzig’s shopping list.
There’s also the video of his talk on books, and of course … the punch.
30. 30 years ago, Motorhead wrote a badass album, Ace of Spades. This is an excellent album to kick off the Halloween season to, and is a soundtrack for causing mischief in general.
37 is for the band Ragnarok, who I don’t even like, but holy shit this is the most amazing compilation of Norwegian metal bands EVER. The list is incredible, profiling the top 100 Norwegian black metal bands of all time. My day is now ruined.
