YES. HALLOWEEN CANDY AND STUFF IS BACK.
September 1st, 2010 by PriceI’m sure it’s been back for quite some time now, but it’s the first time I’ve noticed it.
THAT JUST MEANS THAT HALLOWEEN IS SO MUCH CLOSER THAN I HAD EXPECTED.
I am super excited for the dots, especially the ghost dots.
These ghost dots have been part of legend ever since X-Entertainment reviewed them way back in 2007.
I also reviewed them last year. They were a hit at parties, and I don’t foresee them disappointing this year either. Look at them in all their glory:
YES. I shall consume thee, ghost dots. But I will probably just throw your bastard cousin candy corn dots drunkenly at my friends.
But wait, that’s not all …
OK so candy is one thing. You know what gets me excited almost as much as candy? Well, magazines intended for housewives and craftspersons that are now spiced up for Halloween!
This is the one time of the year you’ll catch me within 100 yards of a Betters Homes and Garden magazine, or similar.
TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN FRIGHTFULLY FUN IDEAS. I CAN’T EVEN COMPREHEND A NUMBER THAT LARGE OR UNDERSTAND FOR THE LIFE OF ME WHY THEY CHOSE THAT NUMBER.
Is it because they had 200, but that’s not a frightening number, so they pegged on an additional 13 to make it spooky? We may never know.
Inside, there’s all kinds of funness to be had. Take for instance, these little guys:
Spook your friends out by cutting these out and putting them around your house!!!
OK, probably not the coolest thing in the world. So how about some creepy crawly cupcakes:
Delicious and sugar rush inducing? Yes. Do you have the time or wherewithal to make these? Most likely not (unless you’re a good cook).
However, there’s something for everyone in this mag. In fact, they cater directly to our needs as seen here:
I really like those napkins.

funniest blog post i’ve read today…those cupcakes blow my mind. Americans invest entirely too much time into truly fruitless pursuits; I’m sure China got its Halloween copy of BH&G and just laughed
