61.  61 = 6_1 = VI_I = VII = 7.  That is some shitty logic I know, but it allows us to talk about Friday the 13th part VII, The New Blood.

Well, actually, it allows me to say that for some reason Vincent really likes this particular Jason film. I’d consider among the worst in the series, although it’s pretty amusing getting to see Jason’s “face”:

Dying sucks, but at least some people are doing something about it. 62.  For these 62 photos of a Halloween party from last year we definitely should have been invited to. Thanks Hef for ruining every other Halloween party we will ever go to.

63.  For Alan Thicke, Canada’s greatest export, who is 63 years old, and for his magical show Growing Pains. Way back before Kirck Cameron was insane, Growing Pains was a fun way to spend an evening (if you were 6 years old). I vividly remember a Halloween episode in which Mike had a dream that his entire family had turned to zombies. Seriously I didn’t sleep for days. I was horrified. I can’t find it online (help me out), but I did find this:

64.  For these incredible Commodore 64 game versions of Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Evil Dead.

65. For 1965. The year in which ex-NFL wide receiver Cris Carter was born. Cris Carter played for the Minnesota Vikings. And VIKING metal is one of our favorite subgenres of heavy metal.

Out of all the viking metal out there, our favorite has to be Amon Amarth. This is them, in their finest:
