Christmas Gifts from Hell

March 5th, 2010 by Price

I’ve been behind recently. Which is why I’m just now getting around to writing about the gifts I got for xmas. I got the requisite clothes from mom, lots of great/terrible candy, books, and of course, toys.

Some of the stuff I got is relevant here. Actually, one piece in particular is ridiculously relevant, and for that, my mom is the most awesome mom on earth (or in hell).

So here goes …

Gremlins Toys

I have so much shit on my desk at work, especially toys. I really don’t need anything else. I already look like a pedophile. Why not throw a bit more gas on the fire? So mom picked up these Gremlin toys for me, which are actually pretty cool.

Every other year or so, mom likes to get us a gift fromĀ Jim Shore productions. This year, it was this little feller:

demon_darkVery evil. Very cool. In a Maleficent sort of way, except not nearly as hot.

Castle Legos

My brother gave me a brand new set of Castle Legos. This shit is awesome:

I never got a skeleton in my Legos before! What a glorious moment this is. There is a skeleton leader, and two skeleton cronies. If you get this set, I recommend building it while wasted.

I couldn’t wait to get home, break open some wine, and build away. If only I could’ve had wine when I was a kid, I might never have grown up (or grown bored), as I would’ve gladly spent my years building Legos and slowly descending into full-blown alcoholism.

Lady Gaga – The Fame Monster

This counts. It has “Monster” in the title for fuck’s sake! Either way, this album kicks ass, and if you can’t enjoy it for what it is, then you suck, and you don’t know how to have fun. I have no pity on your cursed soul.
