Southern Tier’s Imperial Pumpking Beer
October 13th, 2009 by PriceImperial Brewery’s Pumpking beer is awesome.
I stumbled upon this the other week while rummaging through a local grocer in Brooklyn. I love happening upon random food and drink items while not even looking for them.
I was already weighted down with food and booze to carry to a party, but how could I NOT pick this bottle up once seeing it? It’s a close competition between this and Harvest Time for beer bottle excitement.
The beer tasted as good as it looked. It is a damn strong (9 percent) beer, and tasted very pumpkiny. It got me drunk, I know that.
Now for the best part … the BACK label.
It’s “Bewitched and brewed with Pagan spirit.” and should be ”serve chilled in goblet”. Best served in a goblet? WIN.
All in all, I am satisfied with another tasty pumpkin beer. This month of beer is starting off perfectly, with the right mix of tastiness and evil to match.
