The Devil’s Demons (half of us) in Sin City

Saturday, July 25th, 2009 by Price

I am in Vegas this weekend. I have already seen Vinnie Paul of Pantera/Hellyeah fame, the winner of the first season of Rock of Love, and have drank vodka out of a skull. More to come. Keep it evil peoples.

Comic book app for the iPhone, bring on the horror comics (Robert Kirkman)

Friday, July 24th, 2009 by Price

In my second geeky post about something from the San Diego Comic Con, I discuss a new iPhone application from comiXology which allows you purchase/organize/read comic books on your phone.

Many publishers have already signed on to have their comics available in this format, with more certainly to follow. What’s the most interesting thing for me about this is that Robert Kirkman (he of Walking Dead fame) will be adding his work as well. This can only hopefully lead to loads of zombie comics on this app.

If I owned a iPhone, I would get this. So, if you do own one yourself, get on it.

Metalocalypse Video Game, I’ve died and gone to Heaven (or Hell)

dethklok

So I can’t seem to post anything lately except references to Metalocalypse, but here’s one that is DEFINITELY worth mentioning. As you are probably aware, it will soon be revealed at the San Diego Comic Con that there will be a video game based on Metalocalypse’s Dethklok. JOY!

The aptly titled “Dethgame” will be a downloadable game for the XBOX360 and PS3. It will naturally feature Dethklok music in the background.

Hitchcock Satterlee Monsters

I stumbled across Hitchcock Satterlee’s Monsters today, and that was a good fucking surprise because my day has been kinda shitty, and there’s nothing like some freeform animal art to lift one’s spirits.

Need a wedding ring? Evil? Cheap?

skullring

Alas, I never looked good in rings. However, if I was really wanting to revert back in time (and then some) AND my allowance had been a bit larger, I believe I would have purchased some Dog State jewelry, via a cool store called Goodhood. They have a nice selection of evil jewelry, including the above pictured skull ring.

So if you have someone you love and you wish to surprise/scare, or you like jewelry, or you’re just rich and need something new to blow your money on. Well, here you go.

1987′s Street Trash

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 by Vincent

Sometimes I don’t even feel like a real horror fan, what with the amount of amazing film gems I’ve missed.  This one, Street Trash, appears to be a must-see.

New Dethklok Album

Monday, July 20th, 2009 by Price

dethklok

If there’ s one cartoon Vincent and I love,  it’s most definitely Metalocalypse. If there’s one genre of music we love, it’s death metal. It’s no surprise that we like Dethklok’s music. And without further ado, we bring you Dethalbum 2. “They” released a statement today regarding the release of their new album, which will be available for digital download starting September 9th.

We saw them “live” once, and it was amazing. The album isn’t quite the same, but it’s still amazing. It’s also amazingly frustrating how simple it is for Brendan Small to write this stuff. I hate him.
