I love Halloween. So much. Even more than Halloween itself I love planning extravagant costumes that can only disappoint. I’ve spent close to $300 on previous years’ costumes, only to have it look like I fell in a bargain bin at Spencer’s Gifts. Good times.

This year should be no different.

I’ve chosen two costumes, since in this amazing city of NYC one Halloween is never enough. 

Thursday night’s costume? Exhibit the first:

Yes, Nigel Tufnel from This is Spinal Tap. I’ve got everything I need so it should be a success. It would be the first time in years that’s happened.

 

Exhibit the second:

Yea… My friend and I are going as Spy 1 and Spy 2 from Mad Magazine’s Spy vs. Spy. This one has failure written all over it. 

 

I wanted to post these before pics today for comparison with the after pics I’ll post next week. We’ll all share a big laugh. Stay tuned.
