The Sad Little Horror Movie Villain Quiz
September 29th, 2008 by PriceYou have all seen these quizzes, “What color are you?”, “What Type of Sandwich are You?”, “Which Sex and the City Character are you?” etc. Well, thanks to our friends at Google, as I was working on the site today, I noticed an ad for the “Which horror movie Villain are YOU?” quiz.
Now I usually don’t partake in these types of personality tests disguised as a silly game. However, considering that this site revolves around the horror genre and my devotion to said genre, I felt it was both responsible and in my best interest to investigate for the readers. You never know what you could find.
I thought maybe the questions would be clever, and would provide me with some sort of revelation that completely catches me offguard, giving me breakroom fodder for the week. “Hey did you know that I am Chucky? I think it has to do with the fact that I have never grown up!” Or, “Man that’s so interesting that the quiz pegged me for Carrie. I totally thought the prom was stupid too!”
But no. The quiz should have simply had a single question, being “What horror movie character do you think I am going to guess you are?”
Some of the gem questions include:
- “You usually wear a white mask and blue jumpsuit”
- “You almost have the same feature as wolverine in fighting off your prey”
- “Jaime Lee Curtis is your greatest obstacle”
Can’t figure any of those Mensa-worthy queries out can you?
Additionally, for some odd reason the author has an obsession with your family ties and how that might play into your villainy. This is evidenced by “You are after your family members,” “Family means nothing to you,” and “Family ties is very important to you” all appearing as questions here (grammatical error highlighted).
I have to give it to him/her though, the answers or quite creative. For example, your answer choices for the aforementioned “Family means nothing to you” are:
* Yes
* No I want to kill them all
* Not sure
* nope I dont’ care about family’s I just wanted to torture people

I’d like to note that “Family ties is very important to you” may be grammatically correct assuming the quiz is asking for your opinion of the 80′s sitcom. It’s important to me!
